China fights spread of mosquito-borne chikungunya virus

Health officials in southern China are waging war on mosquitoes as the government tries to fight the spread of the mosquito-borne chikungunya virus. Most people infected with the virus develop symptoms such as fever, joint pain and fatigue, which can linger for weeks or even months.
