Former Iowa state rep mounts US House bid as Trump-backed Rep. Hinson seeks outgoing Sen. Ernst's Senate seat

Former Iowa state Rep. Joe Mitchell launched a bid for the U.S. House seat in Iowa's 2nd Congressional District, which is currently occupied by Rep. Ashley Hinson, who is running for Senate.
