Patel defends post about Charlie Kirk ‘subject’

FBI director Kash Patel says his post on X stating “the subject” in the shooting of Charlie Kirk was in custody was not a mistake, even though he could “have been more careful” in his choice of words. The subject mentioned in that post was ultimately not the suspect the FBI arrested for the shooting.
